Questions people ask

What are the best things to do in Mussoorie?

Ride the cable car up Gun Hill, visit the Tibetan temple in Happy Valley and walk the ridge at Landour. If you have a second day, drive out to the Everest house at Park Estate and to Kempty Falls on the Chakrata road. The Mall Road is the town's main street and worth a walk.

What can you do in Mussoorie for free?

Walk the Mall Road, walk up through Landour Bazaar to St. Paul's Church and Lal Tibba, and look at the Tibetan quarter of Happy Valley from the road. We have no verified entry fees for the temple or the Everest house, so ask. The cable car and the taxi to the falls are the real costs.

How many days do you need in Mussoorie?

One day covers the town's three main stops, and a second adds the Everest house and Kempty Falls. Many visitors come from Delhi for a weekend, and the road in is about 250 km on our routing, so a night in town avoids driving back in the dark.
