Our Story
HimLocal was born from a simple observation: the Himalayan region is home to some of India's most talented artisans, warmest hotel owners, and finest natural products — yet most of them have zero digital presence.
We set out to change that. Currently based in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, HimLocal is building the digital infrastructure that Himalayan businesses need to thrive in the modern economy.
Today, HimLocal serves as a service discovery platform — similar to how Skyscanner helps you find flights, HimLocal helps you discover Himalayan businesses. You explore and compare on our platform, then visit the business's own website for all bookings, orders, and payments. We also serve as a SaaS technology provider, where each business gets its own branded online store powered by our platform.
