What it is

A village on the Parvati road about 9 km and 19 minutes below Kasol, at the mouth of the gorge that leads up to Malana. The Malana road leaves the valley road here and climbs by hairpins to a road-end above the dam; the village itself is a row of shops, tea stalls and taxis at the junction. Everyone bound for Kasol passes through it, and everyone bound for Malana turns here.

Getting there

On the valley bus or any taxi between Bhuntar and Kasol; the bus stops at the junction. From Kasol it is 19 minutes down the road.
