Two days in Bharmour — the temples and the road to Hadsar
Two days in Bharmour: the Chaurasi complex and the Lakshana Devi Temple on the first, then the road to Hadsar on the second, where the pilgrimage to Manimahesh Lake begins. The one-day plan covers the temples on foot.
Timing is in when to visit Bharmour, and the stops are in things to do in Bharmour.

Does this plan include the Manimahesh walk?
No. The second day drives to Hadsar, 13 km and 30 minutes from Bharmour, where the road ends. The walk to Manimahesh Lake at 4,080 m is a high-altitude pilgrimage trek, so we give no timing for it. Ask in Bharmour about conditions and registration if you want to go further.
When is Hadsar busiest?
During the Manimahesh Yatra, held in August or September in the Hindu month of Bhadon. The road and the village fill with pilgrims and their vehicles then, so start early, expect delays, and book any room in Bharmour well in advance of the dates.
Where should you stay?
In Bharmour for both nights. Day one is on foot from the centre, and day two is a short drive to Hadsar and back, so there is no reason to move bags. Rooms are simple, and demand peaks around the pilgrimage.
