How to reach Kaziranga: Kohora is about 190 km from Guwahati and 90 km from Jorhat airport by road on our routing, with the official distances and railheads.

By road and bus
Kohora lies on National Highway 37, between Nagaon and Golaghat, and is the main entrance of the park. Wikivoyage lists buses to Kohora from Guwahati, Jorhat, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Tezpur and Tinsukia, and says to get down at Kohora town on the Guwahati–Jorhat route. The state page says the Assam State Transport Corporation and private operators run luxury buses from Guwahati, with taxis also available.
By air
The nearest airport is Jorhat. Guwahati's airport is farther, about 190 km by road.
By train
The sources differ. The state page names Jakhalabandha as the railhead, 50 km from Kohora; Wikipedia's Bokakhat article names Badulipar and Furkating; Wikivoyage names Furkating at 80 km. Check which station your train serves before you book.
