How far is Sunset Point from Kasauli's bus stand?

About 6 minutes by road, roughly 3 km, though it's close enough that many visitors walk there instead. Chandigarh is visible from the viewpoint on a clear day, which is the main reason to make the short trip out.

Can I take photos at Monkey Point?

No — the site sits inside an active Air Force station, and cameras and bags aren't allowed past the entrance gate. This is also why very few photographs of the temple itself exist anywhere online, unlike most other Kasauli landmarks.

How old is Christ Church in Kasauli?

Its foundation stone was laid in 1844 by Dr. Daniel Wilson, the Metropolitan Bishop of Calcutta, with regular worship beginning in 1853. The church tower and its public clock, imported all the way from England, were both added later still, during the 1880s.
