Kali Tibba Temple, Chail
What it is
Kali Tibba, also written Kali ka Tibba, is a temple to the goddess Kali on top of a hill near Chail. Wikipedia lists it among the town's attractions and says it draws pilgrims and tourists. Beyond that, little is published about it: we found no date for the temple and no founder, so this guide gives neither.

Getting there
About 6 km and 13 minutes by road from the centre of Chail, by our routing over the road network. We have not measured the walk from where you leave the vehicle to the shrine, so leave some margin rather than assuming it is at the door. The same applies to opening times, which we have not found published; ask in Chail before you set out.
What you see
The photographs show a white crenellated wall along the edge of the hilltop and a small roofed structure beside it, with ridge after ridge of hills standing beyond. That openness looks like the appeal here, more than anything built. Wikidata gives the height as about 2,190 m, a little below Chail town, which Wikipedia lists at 2,250 m, so treat both as approximate.
When to go
Clear days make the trip worthwhile. The best-time guide explains what is and is not published about Chail's seasons, and in the monsoon and winter you should check the road before you set out.
Around it
The Chail Palace is the town's other main sight, and Sadhupul lies further down the road. The one-day plan covers the palace and the cricket ground, and things to do in Chail lists every stop.
