Ravangla has no weather station of its own in the sources we use, so this page gives no monthly temperatures. Here is what is published, and how to plan around it.
Spring: flowers
Wikipedia says orchids and rhododendrons bloom around Ravangla in April and May. It is the season for walks around the town and the forests towards Maenam.
After the monsoon: the mountains
On a clear day the town looks out to Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Siniolchu and Kabru. The views are most likely in the dry, settled weather after the rains, early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Winter: cold, and sometimes snow
At about 8,000 feet the winter is cold, and Wikipedia says the upper parts of the town sometimes see snow. Carry warm layers and check the road after snowfall.
The monsoon: rain and roads
The hill roads to Ravangla can be closed by landslides in the rains. Travel with a spare day and leave early.
