A day out from Katra — Bhimgarh Fort, Reasi and the Siar Baba falls
A rest day from the yatra, in the old hill state of Bhimgarh that Reasi was before it was a district. Bhimgarh Fort watches over the town and the Chenab, and the Siar Baba Waterfall drops down a cliff in the hills beyond. Both are under an hour from Katra on our routing, so the day ends back in town by the afternoon. Pair it with the two-day yatra plan, and read things to do in Katra.

Bhimgarh Fort above Reasi, about 42 minutes from Katra, and the Siar Baba waterfall beyond it, about 50 minutes, on our routing. Reasi town on the Chenab is between them. Together they make an easy day that ends back in Katra by the afternoon, with time for the bazaar.
