Phulkari embroidery from Punjab covers this dupatta in patchwork-inspired patterns, worked by hand in vibrant multicolour silk floss. Small mirrors are set into the thread work, catching light as the fabric moves.

The cloth stays light, so it drapes easily over suits, lehengas and sarees, and suits weddings, festivals and other celebrations as much as everyday ethnic wear. Being handmade by Punjab artisans, each piece carries its own finish and slight variation in the embroidery.
