A black fabric upper carries hand-embroidered cross-stitch in orange, white and grey, worked in the mojari tradition of Rajasthan. The shape follows the familiar open-back style with a pointed toe, and a pink fabric pull-tab at the heel makes them easy to slip on.

Inside is a natural tan leather insole; the outer sole is hand-stitched leather with a flat 0.4-inch heel. At about 280 grams a pair, the construction stays light and flexible. Sizes run UK 6 to UK 11, covering foot lengths of 24.5 cm to 29.5 cm.

They suit weddings, sangeet and mehndi functions, and pair with a sherwani, kurta-pajama, dhoti-kurta or fusion outfits.
