Stay & food

  • 🏕 Base camp: Jobra (3,000 m), reached by road from Manali
  • 🛏 Stay: Three nights in twin-share alpine tents at Chhika, Balu ka Ghera and Shea Goru, with a dining tent and a toilet tent at each camp. Most operators add a night in a Manali guesthouse before the trek. There is no permanent shelter on the route — everything above Jobra is camping.
  • 🍲 Food: Three cooked vegetarian meals a day from Jobra onward, plus tea and snacks at halts and soup on arrival at camp. Water is refilled from the streams at each camp. The last shop is in Manali — carry your own trail snacks.
